The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk, proudly supports the next generation of maritime professionals through two annual scholarships awarded to exceptional student members of the Old Dominion University Student Propeller Club.
Eligible students must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program with a concentration in Maritime, Ports, and Logistics Management (graduate level) or Maritime and Supply Chain Management (undergraduate level). Recipients are selected based on merit and involvement, with awards announced ahead of the fall semester.
Named in honor of longtime maritime leader and club supporter Rolf Williams, this scholarship is awarded to a high-achieving student in pursuit of a career in the maritime industry. The objective is to empower dedicated students and help mold future leaders of our industry.

This scholarship gives first preference to applicants who are current or former U.S. Merchant Mariners, or the child of one. It honors the essential contributions of mariners past and present and supports students working to carry that legacy forward.
We are proud to recognize the accomplishments of our past recipients.
