Founded in 1927, The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia, proudly serving as a hub for professionals across all areas of the maritime industry. At the heart of our mission are three guiding principles that shape everything we do:
These principles come to life through our efforts to foster a deeper understanding of the maritime industry in and around the Port of Virginia, promote collaboration among maritime professionals, businesses, and students, and support the broader mission of the International Propeller Club of the United States. Together, these efforts help strengthen our port and our industry. We are committed to the enhancement and well-being of the maritime community, both locally and beyond. With a membership of over 300 strong, the Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk includes leaders and professionals in shipping, logistics, law, engineering, government, education, and beyond. Through networking events, educational programming, and community involvement, we create opportunities to build relationships and strengthen Norfolk’s position as a vital link in global maritime commerce. Our Broader MissionOur work extends beyond business. We support the next generation of maritime leaders through scholarships and mentorship, and we give back to the Hampton Roads community through charitable initiatives.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the industry, the Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk is where maritime leadership, collaboration, and service come together. |
